About me
Hare Krishna, fellow spiritual journeyers!
I am Akshita, a soul on a profound quest, delving into the depths of Vedic astrology. My journey into this ancient art was sparked by a deep curiosity about the existence and the interconnectedness of universe. Seeking answers beyond the realm of the mundane, I was drawn to the timeless wisdom of Vedic astrology. This ancient discipline, rooted in the cosmic order and spiritual principles, not only offered me a profound understanding of the intricate web of life, but also introduced me to our rich heritage and timeless wisdom found within Vedic literature. For example, even thousands of years ago The Great Indian Sages knew about 12 years cycle of Jupiter on which one of the great festivals Kumbh is based.
The Legendry Rishis and Acharyas of India knew about the attraction between the planets and their effect which was formulated and introduce to western society by newton just two centuries ago. The knowledge was based on observations, kind of empirical observation based on microcosm (human body) and macrocosm (celestial) behaves. They called every cosmic body as planet which has attraction power to an extent to influence lives on earth. For example, the effects of full Moon and new Moon on water bodies. As water is major component of human mind and body, they noted the pattern of its effects on human mind consequently its behavior. If you know about gravitation force, it is believed that Moon is responsible for upsurge in water bodies (sea, river etc) on full moon. Secondly, human body is almost 70% water. The brain work by creating signaling process based on potential difference resulting from the flow of ions and water between the neurons. All these ion composition influence your emotional state, thought process and consequently your decision i.e. choice. So when these cosmic bodies, planets have some small to big influence then it plays a role in your emotional state, to your decision process which finally culminates into some favorable, unfavorable results.
All this knowledge was there thousands of years ago. But the sad part of its disbelief is our own fraternity of some astrologers who have created a fog of superstitions around this “Para” Vidya. Reading an editorialized horoscope in magazines is certainly fun, however it doesn’t convey the full meaning of this powerful tool that we can utilize to navigate our world. But in order to put this invaluable road map to use, some misconceptions need to be cleared up.
My mission is to dispel those myths and misunderstandings and present Vedic astrology as a profound aspect of spirituality, a dimension through which we can have a deeper understanding of existence. In my experience, Vedic astrology possesses a unique power to draw individuals onto the path of spirituality. In fact my own journey into the realm of spirituality was initially ignited by the profound insights of astrology. It was through the ancient wisdom of Vedic astrology that I first glimpsed the interconnectedness of the cosmos and the inner workings of my own being. Since that awakening, my path has been one of continuous exploration and growth. Astrology serves not only as a mere predictor of events, but as a profound tool for self-awareness and alignment with the cosmic forces at play. A genuine astrologer serves as a medium to align individuals with the cosmic forces. As a practitioner of Vedic astrology I aim to empower individuals on their journey through personalized consultations, insightful teachings, and compassionate guidance. Join me on this journey as we embrace astrology not as a source of fear or uncertainty, but as a pathway to wisdom, insight, and spiritual growth.
Q&A
Maharsi Parashar says that every planet and star has a certain kind of light which carries
energy. What this energy does that it eclipses mind of the person in certain way and it
behaves to its configuration. All humans are under the influence of these energies and
their mind is configured to behave in that way. So predictions of Astrology are basically
predictions on general configuration of your mind and how you are perceived by society
as society is also a set of collective minds functioning under the same planetary
influence.
Astrology is meant to be a guiding tool that empowers you to make conscious decisions.
Let me put it this way: Consider you are heading to office in the morning, and through
weather forecast you come to know that it will rain tomorrow morning. In this scenario,
you have the option to prepare by either taking an umbrella or a raincoat. Similarly, in
life, you can’t control what comes to your way, but with a correct interpretation of
astrology you can choose how to deal with it. In this sense, astrology can help by being
the guide with which you make choices that will allow you to experience the best case
scenario of your own individual destiny.
